Founded to Solve a Real Problem in Lean Manufacturing
IPS Material Handling was founded in 2015 to solve a problem manufacturers were facing directly: modular lean manufacturing systems were gaining adoption across the industry, but sourcing one meant long lead times and limited support once you needed anything beyond a standard configuration.
We built IPS to close that gap, and to give manufacturers of any size, in any industry, access to the systems that empower them cut waste, stay competitive, and keep production in North America.
Today, we design and install modular lean material handling systems for manufacturers across Canada and the United States, engineered around each customer's specific line, not pulled from a catalogue.

From Tier 1 Automotive to OEMs and Beyond
IPS started by serving Tier 1 automotive suppliers, then expanded into direct relationships with major OEMs. That foundation carried into aerospace, electronics, and general manufacturing — industries where a production line needs a system built around it, not a fixed product it has to accommodate.
