Why modular workstations

The Right Tools and Materials, Within Arms Reach

A workstation isn’t just a bench. In a lean production cell, it’s the system around the bench — the structure, storage, material presentation, and ergonomics — that determines how efficiently an operator can work. When that system is designed well, motion waste drops, quality improves, and operators can focus on the task instead of searching for tools or parts.

IPS workstations are built from the ground up for your specific process — no standard sizes, no fixed layouts, no compromises on ergonomics or material flow.

Common Applications

Where Flow Racks Make the Difference

  • Assembly and sub-assembly stations
  • Inspection and quality control
  • Packaging and labeling operations
  • Electronics and mechanical assembly
  • Testing and process verification stations
  • Production team leader stations

Built for Your Operation

Custom Assembly Workstations Configured for Your Cell and Workflow

Off-the-shelf workbenches are designed for general use — not for the specific tasks, tools, parts, and ergonomic requirements of your production cell. IPS workstations are different. Every dimension, every storage configuration, every accessory is chosen to match your workflow and your operators.

Work Surface
Custom bench, desk, or table — various materials in any size
Storage
Integrated shelving, drawers, bins, and dividers
Ergonomics
Adjustable heights for sit/stand or fixed positions
Accessories
Tool rails, monitor mounts, power, and lighting

Part of a complete system

Designed to Work With Your Flow Racks and Material Handling Carts

IPS workstations are frequently designed as the centerpiece of a complete production cell — integrated with gravity flow racks for line-side material presentation and push carts for replenishment. The result is a cell where everything flows: materials arrive at the workstation when needed, operators stay focused on production, and the whole system works together.

FIFO material delivery directly to the workstation

Reduced walking and handling time

Cleaner, more organized work cells

Scalable layouts as production changes

Designing a complete cell — workstation, flow rack, and carts together? We can scope the whole system at once.

Why IPS

A Complete Assembly Workstation System, Not Just a Box of Parts

Built on AluPro and Ecoflex

Using a pipe & joint system? Ecoflex is fully compatible. Ready for a step up? AluPro is our premium system built for demanding lean production environments.

Engineered Around Your Cell

No off-the-shelf workbenches. We work from your cell layout, bin sizes, and tooling to design a system that fits your floor exactly.

Turnkey Systems or Components

Need a complete installed system? We deliver it fully assembled, ready to roll into your cell. Prefer to build in-house? Our full component catalog is available to order directly.

Engineering Support Included

Every project includes practical engineering support — structural validation, layout review, and 3D CAD drawings submitted for your approval before anything is built. No extra fees.

How we work

From First Conversation to Your Production Floor in Three Steps

01 Tell Us About Your Project

Share your layout, sketch, or BOM. Our project managers gather dimensions, bin specs, and cell constraints — and guide you through anything you need.

02 Design and Approval

Our engineers design your system in 3D CAD and submit drawings for your review. Nothing goes into production without your sign-off.

03 Delivery and Installation

Arrives fully assembled. Roll it into your cell and you're running. Most projects delivered in as little as 2-3 weeks.

Build it yourself

Prefer to design and build in-house? We have you covered.

Our full component catalog — frames, connectors, roller tracks, accessories, and casters is available for teams that want to build their own lean systems.
